Welcome to the Turkstra Mill located in Smithville, ON. Since 1969, The Mill has produced quality trim, moulding and dimensional hardwood products for the Southwestern Ontario market. In our 20,000 square foot facility, we manufacture hundreds of stock and custom profiles using our three state-of-the-art moulders that supplies each of our Turkstra Lumber locations, including our Trim and Doors division and our Turkstra Design Centre. Our experienced staff can match any existing profile, no matter how simple or complicated. Whether for architects, designers, builders or custom trim for your home, we can provide solutions for all of your trim & moulding projects.

Knowledgeable & Skilled
Turkstra Mill has a knowledgeable and skilled staff to provide the best possible solution for your project. Our poplar and red oak mouldings are stocked in every Turkstra branch with multiple lengths stocked for immediate delivery or pickup. Custom mouldings can be designed in Smithville using CAD software and a physical sample, drawing, or an idea from a website. All of our hardwood trim and mouldings are manufactured by an experienced production staff who care about the products we make. Our Trim and Doors fleet of trim trucks ensure the trim, doors and hardware are brought to your jobsite, business or home and gently delivered as required.

Sustainability
All hardwood products purchased at the Turkstra Mill are sourced from mills with a rich history of exemplary forest management stewardship. Lumber is sourced from both public and private forest lands within the Appalachian region of the United States. Forestry management includes selective cutting of on the finest timber, careful care and maintenance of access roads to the timber plots, and concerted efforts to maintain a healthy and beautiful forest through active re-planting processes. Turkstra aligns with vendors who regularly visit their source of supply to ensure that the timber harvested is an accordance with local and federal laws. Healthy, well maintained forests are in the best interest of both Turkstra and our customers.
